On the other side of the mountain was Kamacuras, a giant insect sent from Planet X to scout for a new base in which to watch Tokyo. Kamacuras sensed that a large animal was not far away from his position. Kamacuras flew over to the other side of Mt. Fuji to see what it could be. As he scanned he found nothing. Then, he saw something in the distance. It was none other than Varan, but Varan did not see his foe coming.

 

Kamacuras starred at Varan while he was in the air and was going to ram the animal to get a head start. With all his might the alien enhanced insect rammed into Varan, causing the invincible reptile to fall on his left side. Kamacuras landed two hundred meters away. Varan got up and starred at Kamacuras. The two raging monsters starred at each other for a minute before Varan decided to charge. Kamacuras tried to counter the charge by doing another one himself. Both kaiju grabbed hold of each other.

 

Varan went at Kamacuras's neck first, hoping to sufficate his enemy and giving him an automatic win. However, Kamacuras was not without tricks of his own. His insectoid claws battered Varan's eyes like a club until he let go. Varan used his claws and tried to swipe at Kamacuras. One claw swipe after another, but Kamacuras was far too quick. It was then that Kamacuras did an upper cut, making a tear in Varan's stomach. Kamacuras shrieked with pride while Varan screamed with wrath. Varan turned around and used his tail to knock Kamacuras to the ground.

 

The force of his tail shattered small parts of Kamacuras's exoskeleton. Varan then jumped on top of Kamacuras and started to claw him. Kamacuras used his legs to push Varan off and it worked. Kamacuras then turned invisible. Varan was amazed at what had happened. However, the rain appeared to be sliding off an invisible object.

 

A bolt of lightning lighted up the mountain side enough for Varan to relized where Kamacuras was. He charged at his foe. Kamacuras managed to use his left arm as a club to knock Varan to the left right before impact. Varan toppled and was taken completely off guard. Kamacuras then jumped on Varan and battered away at his back. Claw after claw was tearing into the invincible reptile's flest. The alien enhacned insect landed ten blows to the back before Varan used his tail to swipe him off. Varan tried to get up, but Kamacuras was too fast and sky dived right on top of his enemy. All of this ramming had been taking a toll on Kamacuras's exoskeleton. Varan managed to flip over and head butt Kamacuras while he was on top.

 

The force of the blow sent Kamacuras flying into a pile of trees. Lightning struck again, but the rain was starting to lessen over time. Varan slowly got up until he was on all fours again. Using his gliding ability he decided to ram himself into Kamacuras with his own bulk. Kamacuras just recovered when Varan rammed his body into him. Both kaiju were slammed into Mt. Fuji with enough force to create a small earth quake.

 

Kamacuras began bleeding and Varan had alot of broken bones in his body. Kamacuras took both of his arms and tried to decapitate Varan from his backside. However, Varan still had some fight left in him. As another bolt of lightning struck the ground, Varan thrusted his back into the mountain with Kamacuras still attached to his neck. It was of little avail as Kamacuras managed to fly out of the way and dropped Varan into the forest. Varan tried to get up, but the pain was too great. Kamacuras did another sky dive.

 

Varan managed to roll over and cause Kamacuras to miss. Kamacuras missed his target and his head shattered. Kamacuras knew he would not survive without medical treatment from the Xilians, but he wasn't going to quit. Kamacuras body slammed Varan and tried to use his left claw to puncture a hole in Varan's neck. Varan used his left arm and clawed Kamacuras in both of his eyes.

 

Kamacuras screamed in pain before he finally collapsed and died. Varan also cried out in pain as he was bleeding internally and his boned were shattered. When the storm was over, the residents saw the destruction that was caused and Varan laid dead.
