This video presentation is 2.39:1 and anamorphic, which was something I wasn’t truly expecting from the people who made it. I was thinking it was letterboxed but they proved me wrong. The only real noticeable flaws are the compression, which you can not really see on the TV Screen but on a computer monitor you can and also the video cuts off at the end credits because they rebuilt it and translated the Japanese. There is a subtitle track but it is only for when the Japanese text appears on the screen. The end creds, bonus material, and menus are in Full-Frame 1.33:1.

All the audio tracks on the DVD are 2-channel which is very nice. The sound effects do get a bit loud in some spots. There’s also a commentary by some of the voice actors if you want to listen to that for insights on what they did to make it all come together.

We have three different English adaptions of the music video which served as the end song for the film. Then four English fan trailers in which some consist of alternate audio takes that was not used in the final product.

Overall: ****½ /*****
Considering what this is, a fandub, it is quite good for a DVD release.
