Story/Origin: Military personal from the United Nations traveled by submarine. After their hull was breached they had to make it to Mondo Island. Three of them went to Mondo Island to see it while the sub was being repaired. On the island was a colossal dinosaur by the name of Gorosaurus. When one of them screamed Gorosaurus went at the humans that had invaded his island. However, the cry was also heard by King Kong, another native of Mondo Island. Kong quickly attack Gorosaurus, but the dinosaur's kangaroo kick proved much of a challenge. However, Kong had Gorosaurus foaming at the mouth as the reptile collapsed. When Kong thought he had won, the humans left for their submarine. Just when Kong begins to chase them Gorosaurus latches onto Kong's foot. Kong screamed in pain as he tried to break free. He broke Gorosaurus's jaw and fled.

Wheather he survived and had grown twice his size or another member of his species took his place was unkonwn, but in the year 1999 he was one of the monsters on Monster Island. The Kilaaks, aliens wishing to conquer Earth, had taken control of the planet's monsters including Gorosaurus, who was sent to destroy Paris, but his attack was blamed on Baragon. When Earth regained control of the monsters they sent them after the Kilaaks who used King Ghidorah as their trumph card. The monsters attacked king Ghidorah, but did little to damage him until Gorosaurus got behind him and knocked King Ghidorah to the ground. King Ghidorah was beaten to death and the Kilaaks were in defeat. Gorosaurus went back to Monster Island to live in peace to this day.
