Video: *** ½ / *****

This is a VHS-Rip of the film, it’s noticeable in some spots due to tracking; but it’s not that bad quality since in the mid to late 1990’s New Line Cinema released it on VHS in both full frame and widescreen, but they never released it on DVD and then public domain DVD studios released it like crazy. Good thing for us, this is the widescreen version. But, it’s non-anamorphic. There are some blurry spots from the VHS print. Also, no subtitles.

Overall: *** /*****

Considering that this is public domain, its not that bad. It’s pretty cheap too, I remember I got mine for about $4. I give it a three since there’s a real lacking of features, anamorphic video, audio (it would have been a killer deal if the Japanese audio was on here), and subs.

Audio: *** ½ / *****

There is only one audio track and it’s the English Dubbed track in 2-Ch. Since it is directly off the VHS, it doesn’t sound that bad.
